- L'Atlantique ( France) caught fire off Le Havre. Towed into port but a total loss, scrapped 1936 after insurers insisted she was salvageable but lost court case.

- Yashima Maru ( Japan): The cargo ship foundered off Kobe. Refloated on 3 June 1939 and towed to Kobe.[2]

- Marcel ( Belgium) ran aground off the Llanelli Lighthouse, Wales. Declared a constructive total loss. Refloated 3 January 1934 and towed to Llanelli where she was scrapped.[3]

- Mount Taygetus ( Panama) Ran aground at Memphis Rock, English Narrows. Refloated in 1935 and sold for scrap.[5]
